Hungerford's Hunger For Football
A pleasant evening trip down the A4 saw a Calne mixed 50s, 60s, 70s representative team (without a keeper!) play against the lads of Hungerford.
The invitation was to give the Hungerford players a taste of competing against another team, and a three team round robin was played out on the immaculate 4G pitch at John O'Gaunt School.
Scores weren't kept, but even with 2 CTWFC wins (9 goals scored, 1 conceded), everybody enjoyed the evening and Hungerford have not lost their appetite for more competitive/friendly games.
