Calne Town FC hosted their annual end of season charity day for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, a charity close to the club's heart. As well as bbq, beer and banter, three games were played through the afternoon, with the walking football sandwiched between two running games (with full-on tackling and above head height also allowed!).

The walking football was, as usual, a good game played between Calne and Melksham, even though a few of the younger spectators dared to suggest there was some running!

Regardless, the final score was CTWFC 2 v 1 MWFC, and after the game players from both teams had a drink together, discussing the age old question; what does and does not constitute 'running'?

Cheers!

A big thank you to Calne Town FC for hosting the event, Melksham Walking Football Club for supplying the markers, the goalposts AND the opposition, and Graham for refereeing.
