Another Trip To The Top In The Hants League

The 120 mile round trip to Stoneham Lane Football Complex on 7 February, saw Calne Town Walking Football Club continued their climb to the top in the Hampshire FA Walking Football League. Our second appearance in La Liga (second tier) saw the team win all five games, conceding just 2 goals and scoring 11. A great performance which saw CTWFC win our second champions trophy in this Over 55s, 3 touch league, and should see us playing in Serie A (top tier) on our next visit.
Sandwiched between our league topping performances, CTWFC made the first appearance in La Liga, securing a very respectable second place. These fixtures took place on 10 Jan and saw the team win two games, draw two games and lose one.
Our performance on the pitch is table-topping, but our performance off the pith is relegation material. There is no photo of the Jan team and no match result recorded for either appearance. We still need ALL participants to collectively take responsibility for providing results and photographs for Pigasus.
