Following the success and popularity of the pre-match yoga session in Torquay, this Very Slow, Very Easy Yoga Sun Salutation (below), although not quite as much of a laugh, is still ideal for helping players prepare for their recreational or competitive footballing sessions.


The Yoga Sun Salutation is an almost complete system of fitness and health. You flex your body in every way except twisting. Take it easy, and with increased practice, you will build flexibility, strength, endurance, balance, and the ability to relax easier. 

Typically, the Sun Salutation is practiced 12 times early in the morning. Even if you do fewer repetitions, whatever number feels the best to you, you will be more fit than most people and better on the football pitch!
