Pigasus

  The lads from Beversbrook first came together as a team in the summer of 2019, competing against other north Wiltshire teams in a friendly three-matchday tournament. A kit was quickly thrown together and, to look the part, an 'off-the-peg' badge was put on the shirt... and Calne finished 2nd to Swindon! The following year, 2020, Calne Town Walking Football Club was formed, the all-black kit was kept and a Club  badge was designed.  Two years later the badge , the black shorts and black socks were kept but, to help us stand out on the pitch and dazzle the opposition, a flash of colour was added to the shirt and the Nero Verdi were born!!  ⚫ 🟢  

The Calne Town Walking Football Club squad participated, once again, in the annual Almelo City Cup Tournament in the Netherlands, and have done the club proud... taking third place out of the 24 participating clubs. A big CONGRATULATIONS to our friends and neighbours, Melksham Walking Football Club, for lifting the winners trophy in their first year. The boys from Wiltshire did well! BEDANKT!
